Refresh UK’s portfolio of take-home beers has been extended with the addition of Bishop’s Tipple in a bottle format.
Bishop’s Tipple, which was first brewed in 1973 to celebrate the inauguration of George Reindorp as Bishop of Salisbury, now comes in a 500ml bottle at 6.5%abv for the off-trade, and is priced at £1.69. The beer, brewed by Wadworth and Company, joins Wadworth 6X in the off-trade with possible national distribution.
“There is a good opportunity for retailers to offer a wide variety of bottled ales to create a good feature of the beer fixture,” said James Coyle, sales director at Refresh UK.
