A farmer is aiming to take on the premium market with the launch of a range of pre-packed deli products.
The Adlington-branded packs were launched at Food and Drink Expo this week by Turkey Talk, a company set up by award-winning farmer Rod Adlington.
The range features six products, including smoked chicken breast and sliced turkey, and is mainly aimed at independent delicatessans and
farm shops, said general manager John Pilsworth.
“We have tried to create a really upmarket pre-pack and hopefully we can establish Adlington as a brand.
“It’s already generating a great deal of interest,” he added.
