World foods supplier Unearthed is dipping into dips for the first time as part of a 14-strong NPD push.
The new dips range comprises pomegranate with green harissa houmous, broad bean houmous and a yoghurt and green harissa dip. The company said the line-up would “bring excitement to the stagnant dips sector”.
“Our new dips feature unusual and exotic ingredients that will help drive category growth,” said brand manager Simon Day.
Launched into Waitrose, the dips are rolling out now alongside 11 other new products, including three meat snacking pots, three Continental meats and three meat platters – of Umbrian cured meats, Tuscan cured meats and Mediterranean meats.
Two olive pots complete Unearthed’s new chilled portfolio, which will benefit from in-store and sampling activity.
