A new Icelandic vodka and cranberry spirit, Ursus Roter Vodka, is going on test in Tesco this month.
It will be promoted in the multiple by a linked purchase with Red Devil Energy Drink.
The deal has been created by Maritime Foods which distributes both products.
Roter, at 21% abv, is a brand extension of the premium Ursus Vodka which was launched in the UK this summer.
Marketing director Mark de Quervain said the brand was widely available in Europe and was being sold in the UK for the first time.
"The response to sampling of Ursus Roter has confirmed that it should repeat the experience in other countries where it has gained a strong following."
As well as building off-trade listings, de Quervain is targeting the on-trade and the gay community.
The Roter retails at £9.95 for a 70cl bottle. Ursus vodka is only available in litres which sell at £14.49.
