Walkers is aiming to build on the success of its Great British… portfolio with a new range of snacks inspired by roast dinners.
Rolling out under a Great British Dinners banner later this month, the limited edition flavours are made up of Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding, Lamb and Mint Sauce and Baked Ham and Mustard.
The launch will be supported with a £2m TV ad featuring Gary Lineker and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey, on air from September 22. Gordon and Gary-themed point of sale will also be available. Great British ranges have been hugely successful with Great British Flavours growing impulse sales by 8% and Great British Takeaways by 9% while multi-pack sales grew by 7% and 8% respectively.”
Meanwhile, Walkers has redesigned its French Fries packaging to flag up the fact they contain less than 97 kcalories.
Seal added: “We are providing this information to enable our consumers to make choices based on factual information.”
