Women in Wholesale has chosen ‘work happy’ as its theme for 2025.
The new theme will influence topics and events planned by the organisation, which supports women working in wholesale, retail and convenience with events including networking, upskilling, and mentoring.
WiW chose the new theme based on research from wellbeing consultant Wellhub, showing 88% of employees value wellbeing over salary.
“Happier employees are more likely to succeed,” said WiW chair Clare Bocking.
“To see greater diversity in leadership, we must provide women with the tools and support they need – not just to be great leaders but to become happier, more confident, and motivated. Happier staff are more productive and successful, making it a win-win for everyone.”
The organisation will tackle topics including strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, stakeholder management, boundary setting and transitioning into leaderships in 2025.
The topics will be featured at Women in Wholesale’s speed mentoring event on 2 May, as well as at online meet-ups throughout the year.
