Lidl closes stores in Norway
Oslo: Lidl is closing five stores in Norway. Werner Evertsen, the head of Lidl Norway, said the stores would close because they offered "no further development potential". But he ruled out other closures, adding that Lidl, which operates 47 stores in the country, planned to open stores in central locations and larger cities. "It can simply be a case of wrong location or too low population density," he said. "Of course, we want to be where the population is."
