The management of Yorkshire Premier Meats has concluded its buyout of the company from Scottish meat processor owner ANM Group.
The management team took over the business, which supplies the ready meals market, on 5 January but ANM Group has retained a 25% stake in the business.
The new owners include former ANM finance director, Keith McCall and former ANM Meat Division head Jim Jaffray.
Yorkshire Premier Meats is based in South Kirby, near Pontefract in West Yorkshire. There was previously a second site in Sheffield but ANM closed it last year as it was not financially viable.
