Dried fruit and nut supplier Sundora Foods has appointed Tryton Foods MD Brian Young to the new post of chief executive to help build brands such as Fruit Fantasy, Oatiz and Naturally Organic.
Young heads a management team that includes Julian Richards, who is joint MD, commercial, Keith Burton, who is joint MD, operations, David Figg, finance director, and Eric Scott, purchasing director.
“My aim is to work alongside the current management team and workforce to strengthen the position of Sundora Foods,” said Young.
He spent 10 years at Tryton Foods, holding the post of finance director before being promoted to MD. He was previously finance director and business development manager for Bridlington-based Sara Lee, having begun his career at RHM Foods.
