Aldi has begun launching its largest-ever Specially Selected Christmas range, aiming to stir up demand for its host of innovative products, such as a footlong vegan pig in blanket and chicken doughnuts. This year’s range highlights a variety of traditional turkeys, alongside less conventional options like a new Easy Carve Duck and the Slow Cooked Two Bird Roast.
“Customers can expect our usual great value and high-quality products this festive season,” says Julie Ashfield, MD of buying at Aldi UK. ”And this is just a taste of what’s to come at the Christmas Retailer of the Year so shoppers should keep an eye out for more!”
The discounter is launching new party food offerings like Wagyu Sliders, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Breaded Chicken Doughnuts and Pork Belly Bites to keep the meat-eaters happy this Christmas. However, it’s not just about meat; Aldi has invested heavily in its plant-based range, including new mains like the Stuffed No Turkey Crown, No Beef Fillet, Rainbow Vegetable Parcel and Roasted Vegetable Snowflakes.
