Tammy Summers is the regulatory and quality affairs manager for the UK and Ireland at FrieslandCampina, a role she assumed in June 2024. FrieslandCampina manufactures and supplies beloved brands such as Yazoo and Chocomel and is also a key player in the dairy sector, supplying all things dairy including cheese, condensed milks and creams. With over 30 years of experience in the food industry, Tammy has developed extensive expertise in quality and technical roles across various sectors, including coffee, bakery, and airline catering. Until recently, she worked for a company producing sauces, chutneys, and mayonnaise, initially serving as site technical manager. In this capacity, she successfully implemented systems to meet customer standards, driving down complaints and improving site quality. Tammy then transitioned into the management of supplier and customer-facing teams, leading them to collaborate effectively with suppliers, major retailers, and business-to-business customers. She is renowned for her dedication to delivering high-quality standards and her resilience in navigating the challenges of the food industry.
