Um Bongo has revealed limited edition packaging in support of Movember, featuring information about the charity campaign and a call to get involved via with the juice drink brand’s activities online.
Featuring Um Bongo’s cartoon animals wearing moustaches, the special packs will be available from 15 October in ambient one-litre (rsp: £1) and 1.75-litre (rsp: £1.20) formats.
Each sale will see 12p going to the Movember Foundation, an international men’s health charity that focuses on prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide prevention. It is best known for its annual event that sees men being sponsored for growing moustaches throughout November.
“Um Bongo is synonymous with fun and humour,” said James Logan, commercial director of Refresco, which licenses the brand. “This partnership with the Movember Foundation raises money in an engaging and fun way, which perfectly suits the Um Bongo consumer.”
