Entries have opened for The Grocer’s 2022 New Product Awards.
The awards, which showcase the best of product development and innovation in grocery, span 39 categories of food and three categories of non-food, covering everything from babyfood to biscuits and booze.
To be eligible to enter the awards, products need to have a launch date between 15 May 2021 to 15 November 2022.
All entries must be new to the UK – including reformulations, repositionings, significant repackagings or extensions of existing ranges.
The deadline to submit entries is Monday 20 June. Entries can be submitted through our dedicated website.
Once entered, products will be given a forensic examination from our panel of expert judges, who will score them across a range of metrics including taste, appearance, texture, packaging and value.
The winners will be revealed at a glitzy ceremony at London’s Hilton Bankside, on 15 November.
After the awards, all entrants will receive a detailed report from the judging process.
Products that win an award will be given a winner’s logo to use in their marketing and promotional materials, and will benefit from coverage in The Grocer online and in print.
