Arla Foods has expanded its partnership with Diageo UK and will next month launch Baileys’ first-ever squirty whipped cream, alongside an espresso-flavoured cream line.
The new products have been designed to offer shoppers the opportunity to ‘elevate their treats’ with Baileys.
The squirty whipped cream (rsp: £2.50/250ml) will launch in Tesco stores from October and other supermarkets from November.
At the same time, Arla is also extending the Baileys cream range with a new flavour, Baileys Espresso Extra Thick cream (rsp: £2.75).
The new variant will sit alongside existing SKUs including Extra Thick Cream, Salted Caramel and Baileys Pouring Cream.
The entire range will also feature a new packaging design.
“We’re excited to be launching Baileys’ first-ever squirty whipped cream to the UK market,” said Afsheen Khan, Baileys cream brand manager at Arla Foods. “Alongside the launch of our new espresso-flavoured Extra Thick Cream, we are looking to expand the reach of Baileys cream to a younger audience.”
The brand believes the new products will attract younger shoppers into the category by appealing to those looking to “elevate everyday meals and special occasions”.
“We’re very excited to partner with Arla Foods to bring Baileys canned whipped cream to life in the UK,” said Declan Hassett, licensing manager at Diageo. “This is the perfect addition to elevate your treats and cocktails, and we can’t wait to see shoppers across the UK indulge in it just in time for the festive season.”
