Bakery ingredients supplier Bakels has rolled out its first retail range.
Three gluten-free bread mixes - artisan, multiseed and white (rsp: £2.99/300g or a 550g loaf) - are set to hit shelves at the end of April. Suitable for traditional baking and for home-baking machines, the mixes have all been approved by the Coeliac Society.
Bakels MD Paul Morrow added that the company had recently opened the Bakels Baking Centre to help retailers and suppliers work together to develop new products.
