Schwan’s is expanding its Chicago Town offering with the launch of a new snacking range.
Chicago Town Wraps are rolling out to freezers in Iceland filled with one of four flavours - chilli beef, fajita chicken, roast vegetable and ham & cheese - wrapped in a tortilla roll.
Microwaveable in two minutes, the £2.49 packs of two are aimed at cashing in on Britain’s snacking culture, particularly among time-starved consumers who were looking for a quick and convenient hot meal solution.
Janet McQuillan, UK brand manager for Chicago Town, said: “Longer working hours and hectic lifestyles mean that traditional main meals are giving way to smaller, more frequent snacking occasions.
