Waitrose hopes to cash in on World Cup fever this week with the launch of a new range of meatballs – including a chilli and chocolate flavour.
The supermarket has unveiled five different flavours inspired by nations competing in South Africa this June.
As well as the Mexican-themed chilli and chocolate, the new additions include beef with herbs to represent Italy and veal with Parmesan in honour of the US. They join Waitrose’s existing range that features packs of 20 organic meatballs and 12 Aberdeen Angus beef meatballs.
A standard cheese and onion option is also available.
