David Earing has been appointed md of Vimto Soft Drinks and Nichols International. Earing replaces Stuart Fawcett who is to become head of commercial development for parent group Nichols. Earing was previously operations director at Aujan Industries, Saudi Arabia. While there, he developed extensive knowledge of the Vimto brand in the Middle East and other international markets. He has significant experience of the drinks industry, including 12 years with Alpine Soft Drinks. Chairman of Nichols John Nichols said: "David is bringing a wealth of experience to Vimto Soft Drinks. He will increase the focus on customers and cost base to achieve best practice in all aspects of our business.
