Meat snacking brand Made For Drink has launched a spin-off duck fat brand called Spud Tub.
The fat comes in a 212ml jar, and is being billed as “a refreshing alternative to a bleak ‘so what’ fats aisle”. The fat itself is a byproduct from the production of Made For Drink’s Duck Fritons (rsp: £3.99).
“We were reluctant to waste any of the wonderful flavour from the cooking process so instead turned it into a premium, indulgent product in its own right,” said the brand.
The brand recently added a new Mangalitza pork SKU to its snacking range, made from rare breed pork and designed to pair with “chilled, fruity pilsner”.
It also makes Chorizo Thins.
