Paddy’s Bathroom, the toiletries brand for babies and toddlers, is back on TV with a campaign promoting its new-look lineup.
The new ad will air on Nick Jr and Nick Jr Too throughout 2017. It features a father and daughter singing a bathtime song about Tiny Tim the cartoon turtle, which appears on the Paddy’s new Dream Time Gentle Baby Bubble Bath.
Tim comes to life as the song gets underway and is seen splashing around in the bath before floating away inside a soap bubble. He lands with a splash when the bubble pops, as a voiceover invites viewers to “meet the baby bath range from the daddy who brought you Ella’s Kitchen” – in reference to Paddy’s founder Paul Lindley.
The 30-second commercial comes after the toiletries brand gave its portfolio a major overhaul at the end of last year, replacing the seven-strong range with a lineup of five products and introducing new packaging.
“We really wanted to celebrate the fact that dads often do bathtime,” said Lindley. “This is a really exciting time for Paddy’s Bathroom and we are starting the new year with a real splash.”
