S&A Foods The richest Asian woman in Britain, she started in her own kitchen supplying finger foods to the local takeaway. She won major contracts to supply chilled and frozen dishes to Asda and Safeway. Developing over the past 13 years, the business has a £70m turnover and 1,300 employees. Along the way she had to secure backing for expansion, and in 1991 she and her husband Talib Warsi completed a management buyout of the business.
