Sacla’ is celebrating 25 years of its pesto in the UK by relaunching the product’s identity.
In store from this week, the new look includes a revised Sacla’ logo with a copper-coloured flourish and a shift in colour palette to create a contemporary feel.
The labels feature numbers in order of launch date, with number one being Classic Pesto, the first Sacla’ product unveiled in the UK in 1991. All use copper in an effort to create a premium standout on shelf.
“The new pesto labels give the jars their own premium identity, while the overall design provides a warmth and Italian authority to the brand,” said Clare Blampied, UK managing director at Sacla’.
“We are delighted to be celebrating our 25th year and have a series of other activities planned to ensure Sacla’ continues to be at the forefront of Italian food in the UK.”
Sacla’ produces a range of pesto, pasta sauce and antipasti ingredients, and is brand leader of the pesto category by market share (57.3 %) [IRI 52 w/e 2 January 2016].
