SABMiller has appointed Helen Pyman as group marketing development director from 4 September.
Pyman joins the brewer from Brand Learning Partners, where she was marketing capability director. In this role she worked with major blue chip organisations to develop marketing expertise through marketing strategies, people skills and processes. Prior to that, she worked at Kraft Foods for 13 years in roles including director of global marketing training and development and marketing director for the Czech and Slovak Republics.
In her new role she will be responsible for building SABMiller's marketing capability across the group. She is relocating from the Czech Republic to the UK and replaces Elaine Whitlie, who left the company at the beginning of the year.
Nick Fell, group marketing director of SABMiller, who joined last month from Cadbury Schweppes, said: "We welcome Helen to SABMiller and wish her well in her new role."
