Despite Ed Sheeran becoming an unofficial ambassador with a Ketchup tattoo on his arm, Heinz has dropped a spot in the table
Last year’s ranking: 4

Despite Ed Sheeran becoming an unofficial ambassador with the inking of a Heinz Ketchup tattoo on his arm, Heinz has dropped a spot in the table. It saw a fractional fall of 0.1% in value and unit sales were down by a more alarming 4.7%, driven largely by losses for Beanz and Classic Soups.
Sauces were a bright spot, with 1.1% and 1.7% value losses for Ketchup and Salad Cream offset by Seriously Good Mayonnaise’s 35.3% rise to £17.1m as it continued to squeeze Hellmann’s (84).
“Heinz is a masterbrand that cues high quality, brings trust and warmth for consumers and has iconic brand assets,” says commercial director Steve Chantry. “Whatever we do under the Heinz name must be true to these elements.”
