Asda has agreed a deal with Umbro to sell a new range of exclusively designed clothing and footwear in stores and online from 26 May.
A second range will go on sale from 2 June as Asda seeks to capitalise on the run-up to the Euro 2016 tournament. It said the partnership was part of a “tightening up” of its offer and would open up accessibility to high-quality sportswear at affordable prices.
“Umbro is the perfect partner for George - both brands have longstanding heritages built on innovation, but we also share the same values, and are passionate about delivering quality affordable products,” said George MD Nick Jones.
“Now, as we prepare to get behind our nations for some huge sporting events this summer, our partnership will mean that customers can get great sportswear, whatever their budget.”
