Kellogg’s has appointed Peter Harrison as UK marketing director.
Harrison joined Kellogg’s in 2001 as senior brand manager and managed the marketing campaigns behind brands such as Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut and Frosties before becoming marketing controller.
He had been covering the UK marketing role on an interim basis while the company sought a replacement for predecessor Kevin Brennan. In his new role he will be responsible for an annual advertising budget of about £80m.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be leading a fantastic team of marketers,” said Harrison. “It’s a proud moment for me and I can’t wait to get the team moving on some fantastic plans for 2011.”
