Unilever this week boosted its Simple portfolio with the addition of Simple Soothing Anti-Perspirant.
Available in a 125ml compressed aerosol can, 50ml roll-on and 40ml stick format, it is aimed at women wanting more ‘natural’ personal care items.
The deodorant contains no alcohol, artificial colours, fragrance or perfume, and claims to provide 48-hour protection against sweat and odour.
“Simple is renowned for producing exceptional skincare products that have been specially designed to be kind to skin,” said Heidi Williams, marketing manager for female deodorants at Unilever.
Increasing demand for more natural health and beauty products made now “the right time for us to expand our portfolio to include the Simple Soothing Anti-Perspirant range of deodorants” she added.
Simple’s latest NPD follows the brand’s Simple Micellar Shower Gel, unveiled in June. The product features micellar water – tiny oil molecules suspended in soft water said to provide gentle cleansing properties that draw out dirt and impurities.
