Ad of the Week: high flier changes everything with This sausage

Timing aside, the new ad for meat-free brand This doesn’t particularly bother with a Veganuary tie-in. Nor does it go in for health claims or welfare credentials. Instead, in documentary style, it introduces us to a faintly ridiculous high-flier who tells us “I loved being at the top in real estate”.

But what’s next? Our gal tries a This Isn’t Pork Sausage. Musing that its good taste suggests “anything is possible”, she becomes a different kind of high-flier – one in a wind suit – with disastrous consequences. Happily, she still seems cheerful (maniacally so, in fact) in her hospital bed.

This fun ad doesn’t stand up to particularly close scrutiny, but it works nicely with the clever ‘This Changes Everything’ slogan. Outlandishly entertaining.
